From our head coach and owner Joe Fraser…

I have represented and captained Durham county at u14, u16 and u18 level. It was a huge honour for me to be selected to represent the north of England boys in matches against Scotland and Yorkshire which I captained the side to victory on two occasions. I won the Durham County junior Matchplay Championship in 2009 which then led me to get a call up to the senior squad and earn my first cap at 18 years of age. I went on to earn 16 caps for the county earning my county colours along the way including a Big six cap played in the Isle of Man. At my home club of Ravensworth, I won the Junior and Mens club championship titles in the same year in 2009 at 18 years of age.

It was then a huge honour for me to become captain of Ravensworth golf club in 2018 at the age of 26 which I am told I was and still am the youngest Captain of a golf club in the North of England. Not only that, Ravensworth is a special place and to be Captain of such a fantastic golf club was a huge honour for me. That year in 2018 the team managed to gain promotion back into the 1st division in the north Durham league.

Coaching Philosophy…

I have always had a burning desire to create my own elite golf coaching Academy and this has been made possible through the World Golf Teachers Federation where I have learned (and continue to learn) my coaching trade. I now feel I have the skills and tools necessary to improve any golfer from beginner level to tour pro standard. I am committed to develop my knowledge in order to help my pupils as much as I possibly can with the use of video analysis, Flightscope mevo + launch monitor technology and the amazing knowledge I have gained through the WGTF I can guarantee I can improve your game. I create a relaxed, enjoyable and focused learning environment where my pupils leave with greater confidence and awareness in their own game.
